Poly Dogfight

Publisher hzrd149

2026-10-23

Fly a low-poly biplane around a tiny planet you can circle in about a minute. Weave through rock arches, needle spires, floating islands and the Great Rift canyon with momentum-based flight: keep your speed up or the wings stall. Up to four pilots share the screen with game controllers for split-screen dogfights: fixed guns with light aim assist, per-part battle damage, and two heat-seeking rockets on the wings that reload over time. Rockets turn slower than you do, so a hard bank can shake one, and a missed rocket coasts round the planet and may come back for its own pilot. Beginner steering banks and pulls for you; normal mode gives full manual control. Plays with keyboard, gamepad or touch, in any frame from a small widget to full screen.

1968, a Cold War gone hot. You command a Soviet long-range bomber regiment with 60 days to break Hafenstadt, an industrial city of 1.2 million that repairs, disperses, builds decoys and adapts to your tactics. Plan each raid — targets, launch hour, route, package, bomb loads — then fly it yourself: open the bomb doors, beam the SAMs, fight engine fires and walk your bombs onto the target through flak, searchlights and tracer curtains. Strategy sim plus top-down bomber action, inspired by Hamburg, Hanoi and Desert Storm. The horror is in the numbers.

About this collection

Discovery uses NIP-5D’s own manifest kinds, verifies publisher signatures, and selects releases with a direct artifact-hash tag and a plain-text description. Legacy aggregate-hash releases stay out of this feed. A signature identifies a publisher; it does not review the code or certify every manifest field. Some publishers still use source-location formats outside the current proposal. Your chosen shell verifies artifacts and decides which services it can provide.

Artwork comes from the manifest first: icons and screenshots are fetched by hash from the publisher’s declared Blossom servers and shown only after the bytes verify and decode, so they need JavaScript. In this snapshot 62 of 96 releases declare usable manifest media. When a manifest has none, a Software Applications listing (kind 32267) from the same publisher that names the release supplies listing art by URL; 48 releases have one. That pairing is a display convenience of this site, not part of either proposal. The publisher line links each signing key to its profile on nostr.at and shows the name and picture from the key’s kind 0 profile when the same relays hold one (63 of 96 releases here); the key identifies the publisher, the name only labels it.

When a listing supplies no artwork and the manifest supplies no screenshot whose bytes verify, a Napshot preview may fill in: an automated capture published as a signed NIP-32 label that names the exact release revision. The label’s signed content states how the capture was taken, and the visible badge on the image repeats it. Only labels from the Napshot signer this site trusts are used, and the image is shown only after its bytes match the labelled hash, size and dimensions; its mirrors must be HTTPS and must not redirect. 46 releases in this snapshot use one in place of missing publisher art. A release still shown without artwork asks the same relays for a label naming its exact revision when its card comes into view, so a capture published after this snapshot was saved appears without a discovery pass. A preview shows who captured it; it is not an endorsement, and apps that need relays or an account may look empty in it.

The snapshot reads wss://relay.napplet.soy and wss://relay.damus.io and wss://relay.ditto.pub and wss://relay.primal.net and wss://relay.nostr.com and shows twelve releases at a time as you scroll. Past the saved collection, the same relays are reconciled with NIP-77 negentropy so only releases this page lacks are downloaded; a relay without NIP-77 is paged with ordinary requests instead.
